A More Intentional Way to Live at Home
Your home should support your life - not create more stress, distraction, or frustration.
I'm Kalen, the founder of Clean Slate Collaborative. I help individuals and families clear clutter, organize their homes, and create spaces that feel more peaceful, functional, and aligned with the way they want to live.
My work combines practical home organization with clutter clearing and Feng Shui. Together, these approaches help create more than a tidy room. They create breathing room, easier routines, better flow, and a stronger connection with your home.

ABOUT ME
My Story
I'm a Michigan girl through and through. I was born in Pinconning and now call Northville home, where I share life with my beautifully blended family.
I didn't always imagine myself becoming a professional organizer. For many years, I was a stay-at-home mom, navigating the constant movement of family life, children, responsibilities, schedules, belongings, and expectations. Like so many people, I experienced the emotional and physical weight that can build up when life moves faster than the spaces around us.
Over time, I discovered that clearing space could create a meaningful shift - not only in how a home looked, but also in how it felt. When the physical environment became calmer, everyday decisions became easier. Routines felt lighter. There was more room for connection, rest, creativity, and forward movement.
That realization became the foundation for Clean Slate Collaborative.
Today, I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for a meaningful change in their surroundings. Whether you are dealing with years of accumulated belongings, preparing for a new chapter, or simply craving a home that feels more like you, I offer compassionate guidance and practical support throughout the process.

Two Signature Approaches
The Clean Slate Process
The Clean Slate Process is a practical, step-by-step approach for moving from overwhelm to ease. It combines intentional decluttering, personalized organization, room-by-room planning, and ongoing support.
This approach is ideal when you need help making decisions, creating systems, improving routines, or restoring order to a space that no longer works.
The Compass Connection
The Compass Connection is my personalized Feng Shui approach. It considers the energy and needs of the people who share a home, along with the flow, placement, color, and balance of the space.
This approach is especially helpful when a home feels unsettled, when relationships feel strained, or when a space looks organized but still does not feel right.
The two approaches can be used separately or combined, depending on your goals.
More Than Organization
Organization is not about perfection. It is about creating systems that make your life easier.
A beautiful space is not truly successful if it cannot support your routines. The right system should reflect the people who live in the home, the way they use each room, and the season of life they are currently experiencing.
That is why every project begins with listening.
I take time to understand what is not working, what you want to change, and what you want your home to help you experience. From there, I create realistic solutions that are functional, personal, and sustainable.
My work may include:
Clearing items that no longer serve your current life
Creating practical homes for the belongings you use
Improving room layouts and everyday flow
Simplifying high-traffic areas
Supporting moves, downsizing, and life transitions
Creating calmer bedrooms, closets, kitchens, offices, and living spaces
Using Feng Shui principles to bring greater intention and balance to your home
My Background
My background includes a degree in Health Education, along with training and certifications in clutter clearing, Feng Shui, Reiki, and Life Mastery Coaching.
This combination gives me a broad perspective when working with a home. I look at how a space functions physically, how it affects daily habits, how it feels emotionally, and how the arrangement of the space may influence the people living in it.
My goal is not to impose a particular style or make your home look like someone else's. My goal is to help you create a space that feels authentic, supportive, and manageable for you.

How I Can Help
Clean Slate Collaborative is for anyone who wants their home to feel more
supportive and intentional, including:
Homeowners and renters overwhelmed by clutter
Busy families managing daily mess and competing routines
Professionals and entrepreneurs working from home
Individuals preparing for a move or downsizing
People entering a new chapter of life
Couples or families trying to create more harmony in shared spaces
Anyone who wants a calmer, more functional home
You do not have to wait until everything is perfect before asking for help. You also do not need to know exactly where to begin.
Sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation.
A Judgment-Free Partnership
There is no shame in needing support. Clutter can build during busy seasons, difficult transitions, family changes, health challenges, moves, or simply years of living.
My role is not to judge your belongings or criticize the way you have been living. My role is to help you understand what is taking up space, decide what matters now, and create a home that works better for your current life.
I move at a thoughtful pace, with compassion, clarity, and practical direction.
